The Astronomical Clock: This monster clock chimes on the hour. It employs a skeleton, 3 saints, the 12 Apostles, and a golden rooster. This clock has been in motion for several hundred years, every hour, on the hour. We gawked at it for a while, and still didn't seem to fully understand how it worked.
The view from the Prague Castle. You can see the famous Charles Bridge in middle left half of the picture. The dark wall that you can see in the right half caught our eye and we spent a good hour trying to hunt it down. From the Castle it looked to us like a wall of sculpted people. When we finally found it, we discovered that it was actually an artist's attempt at modern art. It's molten rock that was dripped down the wall, then creatures were created from some of the more grotesque formations. Still cool.
What we loved about Prague was the live music that kept us entertained and fueled our "mozyings". This was a group of old guys playing jazz music. Very cool.
St. Wenslas Square: The more modern part of Prague. We found a Mark's and Spencer's that kept us entertained for a while, as well as some gardens back behind the buildings. Not our favorite part of Prague.
